Visitors to Cornwall in 2009
University of the Third Age Roseland and District would like to invite all U3A members and their friends to a special cream tea they are holding on Saturday 13th June 2009 at Gerrans Parish Memorial Hall, Portscatho, Cornwall from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. Changes to U3A Visits
We regret to inform our members that the proposed visit to Standen and Sackville College in East Grinstead on 26th June has had to be cancelled due to lack of support. Full refunds will be given.
The visit to Hever Castle and Grounds will now take place on Tuesday 15th July. Depart Fleet Football Ground at 9:00am. Price is £21 and booking starts at the May monthly meeting.
U3A Summer School
The South East Area Summer School will be held at the University of Chichester from Tuesday 8th July to Friday 11th July. The North Summer School is to be held at the Harper Adams University College near Telford from Monday 28th July to Thursday 31st July. The South Summer School is to be held at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester from Monday 11th August to Thursday 14th August. Details from .

Pilates Group
Caroline Silvester, the Pilates tutor, will be away on holiday throughout May. The new dates for Pilates A, B and C can be found on the Groups page (logged-in members only).
New Groups
The tutor for the Pilates sessions, Caroline Silvester, is willing to tutor some more groups provided there is sufficient interest. These will run from September onwards and a “free” taster session for each group will be provided. More details...
Change to group attendance fees
The Committee have agreed that an attendance fee of fifty pence should be charged for any group that meets for an hour or less. For groups who meet for more than hour the fee will remain at £1.
